PROTECTIVE FIAR SLEEVE
Protector for venous catheter or dressing cover 

Who is this product for?

For anyone with a permanent venous catheter for an indefinite period of time or with a bandage covering a wound or arm operation, allowing them to shower in complete safety and with peace of mind.

How to put on and remove the sleeve in complete safety

FIAR sleeve : How tu put on the sleeve?

  1. Position the sleeve so that the large seam goes under the arm

  2. Roll the top of the sleeve to facilitate the insertion of the arm  

  3. Put your hand over the sleeve and pull up over the forearm until it refuses to go any higher

  4. Wrap the upper wrist bandage taking care to put 50% of the band on the end of the sleeve and the other 50% on the skin.

  5. Pull all the way through the wrap  

  6. Firmly attach the fastener to the Velcro for this purpose, to close. 

  7. Unroll the sleeve and insert the tips gently as you pass and position the fabric well at the top of the bicep.

  8. Wrap the top band taking care to put 50% of the strip on the  bandage of the top of the sleeve and the other 50% on the skin. Make 2 turns by pulling and maintaning tension  

  9. Firmly attach the fastner to the Velcro for this purpose, to close.  

  10. Have a good shower !

How to remove the sleeve

  1.  Detach the band from the wrist

  2.  Detach the band from the top of the sleeve

  3. Take the top of the sleeve and pull it down as if you wanted to turn it inside out.

  4. This way, the wet outside will not touch you. Your arm will stay completely dry.

  1. On the wrist, just before your watch, (see the drawing)

  2. Triceps, (see drawing)

How to clean the protective sleeve

- Hand wash with warm water and mild soap

 

- Rinse thoroughly

 

- Blot with a towel and hang on a pole to dry.

 

- Never put in the dryer.

 

- Never use bleach or other products with chloride
